Caletón Blanco
Lanzarote
Caletón Blanco is one of those spots that surprises with its contrast: small coves of white sand and turquoise waters hidden among formations of black volcanic rock. Located on the northern coast of Lanzarote, near Órzola, it is a peaceful alternative to the large tourist beaches and a favorite among local families.
The volcanic rocks create natural pools of shallow, crystal-clear water, perfect for relaxed bathing and for children to play without waves. The sand, fine and very light, mixes with pebbles in some areas. When the sun sets, the reflection of the water on the black lava creates a very photogenic atmosphere.
There is no natural shade or nearby services, so it's advisable to bring an umbrella, water, and some food. Combine it with a visit to Órzola and the pier to La Graciosa, which are just a few minutes away.
Caletón Blanco is Lanzarote's hidden postcard: clear sand, black lava, and a sea so calm it seems painted.
LIVVO Tip: Ideal for families or a relaxing swim.
