The Natural Park of La Breña and Marismas del Barbate combines pine forests, cliffs, dunes, and marshes in a single protected environment. It is one of the most interesting natural spaces on the Cadiz coast and allows you to alternate between coastal landscapes and walks through Mediterranean forest.

Among its most popular routes is the one that connects Barbate with Los Caños de Meca through the Breña Cliff, with viewpoints over the Atlantic and views that on clear days reach as far as Africa. The Tajo Tower, the stone pine forests, and the beaches of Hierbabuena or Los Caños complete a very varied route.

The cliff route is easy but it's advisable to bring water and sun protection: there are stretches without shade. It's best in the morning or at the end of the day due to the temperature.

La Breña reminds us that the Costa de la Luz is not just about beaches: there are also pine forests, cliffs, and an Atlantic that is best seen from above.

LIVVO Tip: An easy walk from Barbate with Atlantic views.
